TLDR
In this paper, the effect of unified power flow controller (UPFC) on voltage stability margin in a real power system was investigated, where the original load flow Jacobian was modified incorporating the static model of an UPFC and the minimum singular values (MSV) of this Jacobian matrix were computed and compared with that of MSVs of a non-UPFC system.Abstract:
This paper investigates the effect of unified power flow controller (UPFC) on voltage stability margin in a real power system. The original load flow Jacobian is modified incorporating the static model of an UPFC and the minimum singular values (MSV) of this Jacobian matrix are computed and compared with that of MSVs of a non-UPFC system. The results of the case study carried out on a 22 bus, 400 kV South Indian real system is presented.read more
