Abstract
This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of performance of Academic members at Zarqa University from the perspective of students in light of the quality standards of education. To achieve these objectives a questionnaire prepared consisted of (50) items, distributed on five domains: planning for teaching, and implementation of teaching, communication, and personal traits, assessment of students learning. The questionnaire was applied on a sample consisted of (910) students (600 male, 310 female). The results of the study showed: - That the overall arithmetic average of the effectiveness of the performance of academic members was (3.57), which is at a high level. - That all domains of study came at a high level, except the fifth domain "Assessment of students, learning," came in the middle level. - There were statistically significant differences due to the variable college for student's science colleges. - There were no statistically significant differences due to the variable "gender". - There were statistically significant differences due to the variable level academic level at the macro level, for the second year students and then the fourth year students and finally the third year students. In the light of the results, the researcher has suggested some recommendations.
