Effects of rural revitalization on rural tourism

Wang et al. as discussed by the authors investigated the morphological and social evolution of rural communities from the perspective of touristification and analyzed their drivers, finding that from 1988 to 2016, the selected sample case (Jinshitan scenic area, a tourist location situated in the Liaodong Peninsula in China) experienced continuous increases in the average weighted building height, building volume and floor area ratio; the proportion of non-agricultural employment increased by 99.57%.

Spatial Responses of Ecosystem Service Value during the Development of Urban Agglomerations

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper analyzed data from 1995, 2005, and 2015 using mathematical calculations, spatial analysis, and a geographically weighted regression model, and showed that from 1995 to 2015, the comprehensive regional development degree (RDD) of urban agglomeration in the middle of Jilin Province increased overall, with the average RDD increasing from 0.250 in 1995 to 0.323 in 2015.
