TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a charging member comprising a support, a conductive elastic layer formed on the support, and a surface layer consisting of polysiloxane having a fluoroalkyl group and an oxyalkylene group.
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a charging member in which a toner, an additive for use in the toner, or the like is hard to adhere to the surface even under repeated use for a long time, and hence the charging and image output are made stable for a long time even if the charging member is used in the DC contact charging method, and a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus having the charging member. The present invention provides a charging member comprising a support, a conductive elastic layer formed on the support, and a surface layer formed on the conductive elastic layer, characterized in that the surface layer contains a polysiloxane having a fluoroalkyl group and an oxyalkylene group, and a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus having the charging member.

TL;DR: In this paper, a demanded printing job is accepted at a printing job accepting unit, and a printing executing unit executes printing according to the accepted printing job so as to produce an output sheet onto a discharge tray, warning information is produced by a warning voice producing unit.
Abstract: The present invention is characterized in that: a demanded printing-job is accepted at a printing-job accepting unit, and a printing executing unit executes printing according to the accepted printing-job so as to produce an output sheet onto a discharge tray; an output-sheet detecting unit detects the presence of a printed output-sheet on the discharge tray; if the removal of discharged sheets from the discharge tray is detected, a printed-sheet mixture determining unit determines the possibility that sheets printed corresponding to a plurality of demands are mixed among the removed output-sheets; and if it is determined the possibility that sheets printed corresponding to a plurality of the demands are mixed among the output-sheets, warning information is produced by a warning voice producing unit.

TL;DR: In this article, a single layer type photosensitive body was obtained by combining a specified perylene derivative, a diamine derivative, and a binder resin resin to obtain high sensitivity and high positive chargeability.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a single layer type photosensitive body superior in positive chargeability, high in sensitivity and small in residual potential by forming a photosensitive layer composed of a specified perylene derivative, a diamine derivative, and a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The single layer type photosensitive layer comprises as an electric charge generating material, the perylene derivative represented by formula I, each of R -R being lower alkyl, as a charge transfer material, the diamine derivative represented by formula II, each of R -R being H, lower alkyl, or the like; Y being H, lower alkoxy, or the like; and n being an integer of 1-3, and the binder resin, thus permitting the obtained single layer type photosensitive body to be superior in positive chargeability, high in sensitivity, and small in residual potential.

TL;DR: In this paper, a photo-sensitive body is constituted by successively laminating a charge generating layer 2, the charge transfer layer 3 and the charge transferred layer 4 on a conductive base body and specifying the ionization potentials of the respective layers so as to satisfy the relation expressed by formula I.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the electrophotographic sensitive body which has a high sensitivity and good repetitive stability by forming a charge transfer layer of two layers which respectively contain different charge transfer materials and specifying the ionization potentials of the respective layers to satisfy a specific relation. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive body is constituted by successively laminating a charge generating layer 2, the charge transfer layer 3 and the charge transfer layer 4 on a conductive base body 1 and specifying the ionization potentials of the respective layers so as to satisfy the relation expressed by formula I. In the formula, Ig(G) denotes the ionization potential of the charge generating layer 2; Ip(T1) denotes the ionization potential of the charge transfer layer 3 in contact with the charge generating layer 2; Ip(T2) denotes the ionization potential of the charge transfer layer 4 in contact with the charge transfer layer 3. The higher sensitivity and better repetitive stability than the sensitivity and repetitive stability of the separated function type electrophotographic sensitive body formed by using one layer of the charge transfer layer are obtd. by laminating two layers of these charge transfer layers in such a manner.
