TLDR
In this paper, it was shown using 13C nuclear magnetic resonance and Fourier-transform infra-red spectroscopies that the chemical reactions are temperature-dependent and the ability to deform plastically determined both via K parameter and yield stress increases on decreasing the crosslink density, as shown with high cure temperature.

Mechanical characterization of copolymers based on benzoxazine and epoxy

TL;DR: In this paper, a new class of phenolic-like thermosetting resins was developed that is based on the ring opening polymerization of a benzoxazine precursor, which is copolymerized with an epoxy resin in order to modify their performance.

Water absorption by an epoxy resin and its effect on the mechanical properties and infra-red spectra

TL;DR: A filled epoxy resin used as a structural adhesive and based on the diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A cured with dicyandiamide has been subjected, in its bulk form, to ageing at 40, 55 and 70°C and ca. 100% relative humidity as discussed by the authors.

Mechanism of the tertiary amine-catalyzed dicyandiamide cure of epoxy resins

TL;DR: In this paper, the early exothermic curing reaction is shown to be ring opening of the resin epoxy groups by dicyandiamide imino and amino anionic species, giving rise to N-alkyl cyanoguanidines; a minor amount of polyether formation also occurs at this time.
