TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors reviewed and discussed the latest research results on construction safety management in and abroad, the key research content and subject focused in current safety management were proposed Two management technical methods on safety objective management applicable to local construction projects were designed and improved.
Abstract: as the reform of construction industry and construction management system in our country is continuously deepening, the management methods and organization structure on production had been deeply changed for enterprises in construction industry, which has gradually established a "modern enterprise system" and vigorously promoting "construction of project methods" on the construction management in construction works In this paper, by reviewing and discussing the latest research results on construction safety management in and abroad, the key research content and subject focused in current safety management were proposed Two management technical methods on safety objective management applicable to local construction projects were designed and improved One is contractual safety responsibility method; the other is overall safety quality management method The application effects were tested, analyzed and improved by using quantitative safety comprehensive evaluation method to achieve a systemic and scientific safety management theory system that is complete and practical

TL;DR: In this paper, four perspectives with potential to explain the diAusion of accounting innovations are identified: the eAcient-choice, forced selection, fad and fashion perspectives.
Abstract: This study aims to explain what drives innovation diAusion in management accounting during its various phases. Based on Abrahamson [Abrahamson, E. (1991). Managerial fads and fashions: the diAusion and rejection of innovations. Academy of Management Review, 16, 586‐612], four perspectives with potential to explain the diAusion of accounting innovations are identified: the eAcient-choice, forced selection, fad and fashion perspectives. The diAusion of activity-based costing (ABC) in Finland provides an empirical context to study how these four perspectives apply to management accounting innovation. Data comes from a set of four surveys (total n=490, response rate 39.5%, 114 ABC cases), from interviews of consultants, academics and software industry employees, and from archival sources. The study proposes that the driving forces behind innovation diAusion in management accounting change over the course of diAusion. EAcient choice may explain the earliest adoptions, whereas fashion-setting organizations exert considerable influence in the take-oA stage. Later on, the influence of fashion setting organizations diminishes. Further diAusion is explained both by mimetic behaviour and eAcient-choice. # 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.

TL;DR: In this paper, the possibilities for designing efficient and effective occupa tional health and safety regulation for those enterprises that are not 'best practice' performers are examined, focusing on three main ways in which current regulatory approaches might be substantially improved: the allocation of regulatory resources; strategies for inspection and enforcement; and the use of manage ment systems and legislation to control contractors and suppliers.
Abstract: This article examines the possibilities for designing efficient and effective occupa tional health and safety regulation for those enterprises that are not 'best practice' performers. In relation to this group, the article focuses on three main ways in which current regulatory approaches might be substantially improved: the allocation of regulatory resources; strategies for inspection and enforcement; and the use of manage ment systems and legislation to control contractors and suppliers. It identifies weak nesses in current arrangements, and it argues the case for adopting a number of regulatory reforms and innovations drawing from experience internationally, or on recent and important developments in regulatory theory, and on approaches constructed during the course of this research. Particular emphasis is placed on innovations such as focused inspections, the use of audit services, and the use of principal contractors as surrogate regulators. The article is concerned with improving the design, administ...
