In this paper, conditions for convective instability in the gas phase are determined, and the diffusion and convection regimes of the process are investigated, and it is shown that, for binary systems, the steady-state process of evaporation depends on the initial distribution of component concentrations.Abstract:
Nonstationary processes of evaporation of a pure liquid and a binary solution are simulated. Conditions for convective instability in the gas phase are determined, and the diffusion and convection regimes of the process are investigated. It is shown that, for binary systems, the steady-state process of evaporation depends on the initial distribution of component concentrations. The results of numerical calculations are compared with the experimental data.read more
