TL;DR: In this paper, the impact of oxygen enrichment of the inlet air has been examined in laboratory tests on a direct injection diesel engines to study the combustion efficiency, power and performance of the engine.
Abstract: The impact of oxygen enrichment of the inlet air have been examined in laboratory tests on a direct injection diesel engines to study the combustion efficiency, power and performance of the engine. Increasing the oxygen content with the air leads to faster burn rates and also the ability to burn more fuel at the same stoichiometry. Added pure oxygen in the combustion air also leads to shorter ignition delays and offers more potential for complete burning of diesel. The experiment was carried out at different oxygen percentages using regulated oxygen induction from oxygen cylinder. Performance test was carried out in the twin cylinder engine for different loads and with various injection pressures. The results show that there is considerable improvement in power output and thermal efficiency of the engine with increased oxygen concentration and injection pressure while NOx emission increased pro rata with the oxygen added.

TL;DR: In this paper , a 3D-printed plasmonic sensor has been used for point-of-care tests and environmental monitoring, and numerical and experimental results have demonstrated that the sensor's sensitivity improves when the proposed metals bilayer is used instead of a gold layer.
Abstract: The design, development, and testing of a 3D-printed plasmonic sensor has been here presented. A silver and gold bilayer has been deposited on a polymer waveguide to improve the performance of the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor. The developed SPR sensor is very simple to realize, small-size, low-cost, and its sensitivity is sufficient to realize biosensors, exploiting specific receptors in contact with the sensing bilayer. Therefore, the proposed sensing approach could be used to make disposable sensor chips for several application fields, e.g. point-of-care tests and environmental monitoring. Furthermore, numerical and experimental results have demonstrated that the sensor's sensitivity improves when the proposed metals bilayer is used instead of a gold layer.

TL;DR: In this article , a fingerprint-based voting system has been proposed, in which fingerprints are collected during enrollment phase, and it will be verified during polling, the voter has to place his finger to register, that data will be stored in software.
Abstract: Elections are very important to decide country’s future. Manual voting system have many consequences, to overcome these problems implementing biometric voting machine in society diminish problems. Hence, a flngerprint-based voting system has been proposed in this paper. Every person has unparalleled identity by using this bit new system works. In this proposed system, fingerprints are collected during enrollment phase, and it will be verified during polling. For this purpose, the hardware component Arduino Uno has utilized in this work. The Adafruit library tells the sensor to read fingerprints, store them as “templates”. The voter has to place his finger to register, that data will be stored in software. Persons who had registered or already existed in list can have access to cast their vote by placing their fingerprint. If any person tries to fake their vote by casting second time or nonregistered the buzzer rings. By this change voting system get rid of some issues.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the relative effect of two oxygen addition methods on diesel emission and combustion: (1) oxygen enrichment of the intake air and oxygenation of the fuel, and (2) fuel oxygenation via linear structure oxygenated molecules.
Abstract: Among continuing efforts to develop low-emission combustion engines, oxygen-enhanced combustion has long been considered a promising approach. A number of investigations have focused on the effects of oxygen addition on soot formation and oxidation by using various oxygen introduction techniques, such as blending different oxygen-containing fuels or direct oxygen addition into the intake air stream. The present study of oxygen addition was performed on a Volkswagen 1.9 L “TDI” turbodiesel engine to investigate and compare the relative effect of two oxygen addition methods on diesel emission and combustion: oxygen enrichment of the intake air and oxygenation of the fuel. The oxygen enrichment was accomplished by connecting an oxygen generator to the intake air surge tank, while fuel oxygenation was accomplished using two compounds with different cetane number and molecular structure. The key observations are that both intake oxygen enrichment and fuel oxygenation via linear structure oxygenated molecules ...
