TLDR
In this article, the authors complete their formalism relating the finite-volume energy spectrum of a scalar quantum field theory to the three-to-three scattering amplitude, denoted as M 3.Abstract:
In this article we complete our formalism relating the finite-volume energy spectrum of a scalar quantum field theory to the three-to-three scattering amplitude, ${\mathcal{M}}_{3}$. In previous work [Phys. Rev. D 90, 116003 (2014)], we found a quantization condition relating the spectrum to a nonstandard infinite-volume quantity, denoted ${\mathcal{K}}_{\mathrm{df},3}$. Here we present the relation between ${\mathcal{K}}_{\mathrm{df},3}$ and ${\mathcal{M}}_{3}$. We then discuss briefly how our now completed formalism can be practically implemented to extract ${\mathcal{M}}_{3}$ from the finite-volume energy spectrum.read more

Scattering processes and resonances from lattice QCD
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review progress in the study of few-hadron reactions in which resonances and bound states appear using lattice QCD techniques and present a leading approach that takes advantage of the periodic finite spatial volume used in lattice-QCD calculations to extract scattering amplitudes from the discrete spectrum of QCD eigenstates in a box.
