TL;DR: In this paper, a walking rehabilitation training and evaluating equipment consisting of a speed measuring device, a gravity measuring device and a detection platform is presented. But, it is not shown how to use it in the real world.
Abstract: The invention discloses walking rehabilitation training and evaluating equipment. The equipment comprises a speed measuring device, a gravity measuring device and a detection platform. The speed measuring device and the gravity measuring device are electrically connected with the detection platform. The speed measuring device is mounted on a wall surface. The speed measuring device comprises a fixed plate, a pull ring arranged on the fixed plate, a movable track and a speed sensor. The pull ring is slidably connected along the movable track. The sliding speed of the pull ring is measured through the speed sensor. The gravity measuring device comprises a gravity sensor and a bottom plate. The gravity sensor is arranged in the bottom plate. The bottom plate is arranged on the ground. The walking parameters of a human body of a user are measured through the speed sensor and the gravity sensor and then are fed back to the detection platform for evaluation. Therefore, the user can know thecondition of a rehabilitation person through the detection platform. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the equipment is reasonable in structure and convenient to use. By means of theequipment, a patient can be trained and rehabilitated by himself/herself. The rehabilitation condition, the training time and the training efficiency of the patient can be obtained. The equipment hasa high practical value in the medical field.

Abstract: A motion analysis system and apparatus incorporates markers which are secured at various joints of the subject's body as well as pressure sensitive shoes or insoles which are worn by the subject. The subject is caused to perform motion such as walking or running. While performing this motion, the subject is televised by means of two video cameras. The video signal from the cameras is stored by means of video recorders and then processed on a frame-to-frame basis to provide digitized data. The pressure sensitive insoles provide signals which are processed according to analog to digital conversion techniques whereby a display is also provided which indicates the pressure applied to the subject's foot while performing. The remaining data as supplied by the first and second video cameras and which is digitized is then further processed to present various displays showing the gait, the angular position of the various joints of the patient and various other information indicative of the particular walking characteristics of the subject. The data thus produced and processed by the system enables a practitioner to judge the persons's walking gait as compared to a normal user.

TL;DR: In this article, a robotic exoskeleton has sensors embedded in it which provide feedback to the control system to provide corrective pressure and guidance, and the position versus time is sensed and compared to a normal gait profile.
Abstract: A robotic exoskeleton and a control system for driving the robotic exoskeleton, including a method for making and using the robotic exoskeleton and its control system. The robotic exoskeleton has sensors embedded in it which provide feedback to the control system. Feedback is used from the motion of the legs themselves, as they deviate from a normal gait, to provide corrective pressure and guidance. The position versus time is sensed and compared to a normal gait profile. Various normal profiles are obtained based on studies of the population for age, weight, height and other variables.
