Abstract: The traditional Indian medicine - Ayurveda, describes various herbs, fats, oils and minerals with anti-aging as well as wound healing properties. Wounds are the result of injuries to the skin that disrupt the soft tissue. Wound healing can be defined as a complex dynamic process results in the restoration of anatomic continuity and function. Various plant products have been used in treatment of wounds over the years. Wound healing herbal extracts promote blood clotting, fight infection, and accelerate the healing of wounds. Hence in the current review a list of the plants used in traditional medicine for the treatment of wounds were screened. It is a beneficial work for researchers to provide many details about the wound healing herbs and development of safe and effective and globally accepted herbal drugs for cuts and wounds.

TL;DR: The study revealed that the EVN showed significant antitumour activity in tested animal models and was found to be cytotoxic to mouse lung fibroblast (L-929) cells in long term chemosensitive cytot toxic assay.
Abstract: The antitumour activity of the ethanolic extract of leaves of Vitex negundo (EVN) has been evaluated against Dalton’s ascitic lymphoma (DAL) in Swiss albino mice at the dose of 250 & 500 mg/kg, body weight. The experimental parameters used were tumour volume, tumour cell count, viable tumour cell count, mean survival time and increase in life span to assess antitumour activity. The extract administered orally for 14 consecutive days to tumor bearing group of animals. The extract increase the life span of DAL treated mice and restore the hematological parameters as compared with the DAL bearing mice in dose dependant manner. The study revealed that the EVN showed significant antitumour activity in tested animal models. The EVN was found to be cytotoxic to mouse lung fibroblast (L-929) cells in long term chemosensitive cytotoxic assay.

TL;DR: Phytochemical analysis of the extract of Mimosa pudica leaves revealed that the antimicrobial activity of the plant materials is due to the presence of active constituents like alkaloids or tannins.
Abstract: Ethanolic extracts of Mimosa pudica leaves were screened for phytochemical constituents and antimicrobial activity towards pathogens i.e. bacteria and fungi. The activity was tested against Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumonia, Aspergillus flavus and Trycophyton rubrum at different concentrations of 25, 50, 75 and 100 µl/ disc and the results have been illustrated. Phytochemical analysis of the extract revealed that the antimicrobial activity of the plant materials is due to the presence of active constituents like alkaloids or tannins.
