Convergent validity of the Agnew Relationship Measure and the Working Alliance Inventory.

TL;DR: The convergent validity of the Agnew Relationship Measure (ARM) and the Working Alliance Inventory (WAI) was assessed in samples drawn from 2 comparative clinical trials of time-limited psychotherapies for depression, supporting the assumption that the ARM and the WAI measure some of the same core constructs.

Does Psychotherapy Research Influence the Clinical Practice of Researcher–Clinicians?

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the impact of empirical research findings on the clinical practice of a sample of psychotherapists who are also actively engaged in the consumption, critical evaluation, and production of psychotherapy research, and found that clinicians do value empirical research, but consider it as one source of information among others to be incorporated into the clinical decision-making process.
