The facilitative effects of heart-rate feedback in the emotional processing of claustrophobic fear.
TL;DR: Predictions derived from Foa and Kozak's theory of emotional processing that the provision of heart-rate feedback would facilitate emotional processing through a fuller activation of the participant's fear structure and by focusing participants' attention on information incompatible with the fear structure are examined.

Vocal synchrony in psychotherapy
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined whether synchrony in vocal pitch between psychotherapists and clients is similarly associated with rapport, and found that higher levels of synchrony were related to poorer therapeutic relationships and greater distress.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the effect of type and intimacy of disclosure on Asian American clients' perception of each disclosure made during the counseling session and found that disclosure of strategies were perceived by the clients to be more helpful than disclosures of approval/reassurance, facts/credentials, and feelings, with disclosures of insight perceived as intermediate in helpfulness.
