TLDR
The analyses showed OHRQoL gradients consistent with the number and position of teeth missing due to oral disease, suggesting that the quantity of teeth lost does not necessarily reflect the impact of tooth mortality on OHRZoL and that future studies should take this into consideration.

When the fear of dentist is relevant for more than one's oral health. A structural equation model of dental fear, self-esteem, oral-health-related well-being, and general well-being.

TL;DR: A complex structural equations model is developed and tested, in which dental fear influences both the specific oral-health-related well-being and the persons’ self-esteem, in order to validate potential pathways of influence hypothesized based on previous evidence from the literature.

Tooth loss in adults: factors associated with the position and number of lost teeth

TL;DR: Lower income and schooling, the perception of need for treatment and the last appointment motivated by routine, pain or extraction were associated with tooth loss, regardless of the classification, and the need to consider such classification in future studies is evident.
