Indoor soundscapes at home during the COVID-19 lockdown in London – Part II: A structural equation model for comfort, content, and well-being

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the impact of acoustical, building, urban and person-related factors on soundscape dimensions and well-being, and found that perceived dominance of neighbours' noises during relaxation, moderated by noise sensitivity, and the number of people at home were common factors negatively affecting both comfort and wellbeing.

Indoor soundscapes at home during the COVID-19 lockdown in London – Part II: A structural equation model for comfort, content, and well-being

- 01 Jan 2022 -
TL;DR: In this article , the authors conducted an online survey with 464 home workers in London during the COVID-19 lockdown to assess the perceived affective quality of indoor soundscapes.

Crossed effects of audio-visual environment on indoor soundscape perception for pleasant open-plan office environments

TL;DR: In this paper, the subjective responses in an audio-visual open-plan office (OPO) environment were analyzed to investigate the effects of the environment on indoor soundscape perception for designing pleasant OPOs.

Remote Working in the COVID-19 Pandemic: Results From a Questionnaire on the Perceived Noise Annoyance

TL;DR: Puglisi et al. as mentioned in this paper found that 55% of the workers perform their activity in an isolated room of the home environment, 43% in a shared room (e.g., kitchen, living room), and 2% in an outdoor space, with the majority of workers (57%) performing activity without other people in the environment.
