TLDR
The two-component composition consisting of complex copper Cu(II) compounds and cationic surface-activated substance cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) exhibits high catalytic reactivity during decomposition of tert-butyl hydroperoxide.Abstract:
The two-component composition consisting of complex copper Cu(II) compounds and cationic surface-activated substance cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) exhibits high catalytic reactivity during decomposition of tert-butyl hydroperoxide. One specific characteristic of the effects of the Cu(II) + CTAB binary system consists in its high rate of processing without visible signs of deactivation in the transformation of significant amounts of the reagent in optimum temperature conditions.read more

[Ni(II) Chelates + Cetyltrimethylammonium Bromide] Composition: Characteristics of Catalytic Activity, Using the Reaction of tert-Butyl Hydroperoxide Decomposition As an Example
L. A. Smurova,Z. S. Kartasheva +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that intracomplex Ni(II) compounds in combination with Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) exhibit high catalytic activity in the tert-butyl hydroperoxide (ROOH) decomposition process; a similar effect takes place when a free ligand (Schiff base L(ON) + CTAB) composition is used.
