Internet Prospective Study

TL;DR: What the future of the Internet is is shown, a qualitative prospective analysis on projects and investigations in which the scientific community is currently working is carried out, the information is analyzed, and the highlighted topics are shown.
Abstract: The Internet is currently the largest network of communication worldwide and is where technological advances could be observed. The original creation of the Internet was based on the idea that this network would be formed mainly by multiple independent networks with an arbitrary design. The Internet is the place where all countries communicate and disseminate information in real time, this phenomenon directly affects economies, businesses, and society. This article shows what the future of the Internet is, our research carries out a qualitative prospective analysis on projects and investigations in which the scientific community is currently working, the information is analyzed, and the highlighted topics are shown.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors identify five themes on PPP application for smart city development: technological innovation integration and increased risk profile, smart citizen engagement and participatory governance, data sharing and information security, transformation of PPP process and approach and PPPs for urban sustainability.
Abstract: Purpose Cities are facing challenges with their smart city agenda due to tighter budget constraints, varied interests of different stakeholders and increasing needs of technological innovation. Therefore, cities are partnering with private organisations to advance smart city projects. This research critically analyses the existing research published on public-private partnerships (PPPs) for the development of smart city projects and aims to identify the emerging themes and recommend mechanisms and strategies for improved use of smart city PPPs. Design/methodology/approach The content/textual analysis was conducted on 52 research publications relating to PPP and smart city from 2001 to 2020. With the assistance of the Leximancer software, the related literature was systematically analysed and synthesised to present the emerging themes of PPP application within the smart city context. Findings The analyses reveal that smart city PPPs mainly concentrated on building new or improving existing infrastructure. The research identifies five themes on PPP application for smart city development: (1) Technological innovation integration and increased risk profile, (2) Smart citizen engagement and participatory governance, (3) Data sharing and information security, (4) Transformation of PPP process and approach and (5) PPPs for urban sustainability. This research consolidates these five themes in a proposed sustainable public-private-people partnership (PPPP) framework. Originality/value This research provides a new perspective on rethinking the extant PPP models by highlighting the emerging themes in the PPP application for smart city development. This study provides useful recommendations for smart city infrastructure project partnership and engagement among the public and private sectors, and the city residents

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose to adapt education 4.0 with solid steps to reach society 5.0 by giving public schools more autonomy, freedom and responsibility, which will lead to poor student performance, high youth unemployment, which cause severe social problems and the economy of the economy.
Abstract: Education in Mexico has not evolved in the way it is taught and evaluated. In the historical moment that postmodernism enters, it has not been possible to adapt to Information and Communication Technologies ( ICT ) , or rapid technological innovation, or changes and trends in the industry, to the sharing economy or the rise of distance races. In its analysis, an essential deficiency is detected in the current education models, and it is detected that educational freedom is nil or scarce, which has led to poor student performance, high youth unemployment, which cause severe social problems and the economy of the economy. The current government is working closely with the private sector to connect education and promote employment. It is necessary to grant public schools more autonomy, freedom and responsibility. This paper explains how to act so that Mexico can adapt education 4.0 with solid steps to reach society 5.0.

TL;DR: A framework for web browser analysis that allows investigators to obtain data from RAM that contains computer usage sessions by using live forensics is proposed.
Abstract: In today's digital era almost every aspect of life requires the internet, one way to access the internet is through a web browser. For security reasons, one developed is private mode. Unfortunately, some users using this feature do it for cybercrime. The use of this feature is to minimize the discovery of digital evidence. The standard investigative techniques of NIST need to be developed to uncover an ever-varied cybercrime. Live Forensics is an investigative development model for obtaining evidence of computer usage. This research provides a solution in forensic investigation effectively and efficiently by using live forensics. This paper proposes a framework for web browser analysis. Live Forensics allows investigators to obtain data from RAM that contains computer usage sessions.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used balanced scorecard method approach that is by taking into account financial, customer, and internal business process and learning and growth perspective to adjust employee's KPI from the traditional way of work turns in to telework.
Abstract: Key Performance Indicator (KPI) must be aligned with the development of the organization. PT. Mitra Intregrasi Informatika (MII) in its development decided to change the traditional way of work to modern telework. This encourages companies to adjust employee’s KPI from the traditional way of work turns in to telework. In order to perform KPI measurement of its employees based on teleworking, this research uses balanced scorecard method approach that is by taking into account financial, customer, and internal business process and learning and growth perspective. The results of this study are the design proposal KPI employees to accommodate telework at the company. Then KPI employee test results showed an increase in the average value of the employee KPI of 0.295 points (9.47%) of the old KPI. Thus, it is recommended to the company to implement the employee KPI.

TL;DR: The Interface Message Processor (IMP) as mentioned in this paper was the first switch to be installed in a computer network, and it was installed at UCLA nine months after the contract award by Bolt Beranek and Newman (BBN).
Abstract: From the Publisher: A little more than twenty-five years ago, computer networks did not exist anywhere - except in the minds of a handful of computer scientists. In the late 1960s, the Defense Department's Advanced Research Projects Agency funded a project to create computer communication among its university-based researchers. The experiment was inspired by J. C. R. Licklider, a brilliant scientist from MIT. At a time when computers were generally regarded as nothing more than giant calculators, Licklider saw their potential as communications devices. Where Wizards Stay Up Late is the story of the small group of researchers and engineers whose invention, daring in its day, became the foundation for the Internet. With ARPA's backing, Licklider and others began the quest for a way to connect computers across the country. In 1969, ARPA awarded the contract to build the most integral piece of this network - a computerized switch called the Interface Message Processor, or IMP - to Bolt Beranek and Newman (BBN), a small Cambridge, Massachusetts, company. A half-dozen engineers at BBN, who called themselves the IMP Guys, knew it was possible to do what larger companies - including AT&T and IBM - had dismissed as impossible. But making computer networking possible required inventing new technologies. Working around the clock, the IMP Guys met a tight deadline, and the first IMP was installed at UCLA nine months after the contract award. A nationwide network called the ARPANET grew from four initial sites. Protocols were developed, and along the way a series of accidental discoveries were made, not the least of which was e-mail. Almost immediately, e-mail became the most popular feature of the Net and the "@" sign became lodged in the iconography of our times. The ARPANET continued to grow, then merged with other computer networks to become today's Internet. In 1990, the ARPANET itself was shut down, fully merged by then with the Internet it had spawned.
