TL;DR: The authors examined the interactive organization of bilingual mediating in everyday conversations among Finnish and Brazilian Portuguese speakers, focusing on how participants who know both of these languages relay parts of the ongoing conversation for their co-participants in the other language, and thereby facilitate their understanding and participation in the interaction.
