IoT Based Economic Smart Vehicle Parking System

Abstract: In the current decade we are facing parking problem with the advancement in the technology The population in urban cities is dense due to which lots of vehicles are running on road leads to parking problem, traffic problem World is facing new challenge of Car parking It is observed that one million of vehicles consumes oil on daily basis In this paper, An automatic real-time system for automated car parking is proposed This system is implemented with the help of internet of things (IOTs) IOT generally exchanges information or data between the two physical devices Arduino Uno is a microcontroller used in proposed system The main use of Arduino in the proposed system is to provide platform to communicate digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control physical devices The proposed system is implemented with the help of Arduino Uno board for car parking and Node MCU to connect parking area with web or internet The proposed system incorporated with an infrared sensor in each slot for getting information about vacancy position of parking slot The user book parking slot well in advance, all the necessary information is available on server Every user has exclusive username and password In case any misuse happened then the system will alert the responsible person

Abstract: Using Internet of Things technology, a practical and clever method of automating parking system management that allots a useful parking place. The Internet of Things offers wireless connectivity to the system, allowing the user to monitor the parking lot's availability. Road congestion is the main issue that is being encountered due to an increase in the number of cars in urban areas. This paper's goal is to find a solution to this problem. The user often wastes his or her time and energy trying to find a vacant place in a designated parking lot. The user receives the parking information through an LCD panel at the parking entry. Traffic congestion and air pollution are results of the parking issue. Today's situation makes it difficult for people to find parking spaces in their daily lives. A new estimate predicts that by 2035, there will be over 1.6 billion vehicles on the road worldwide. We burn almost one million barrels of oil per day in our daily lives. Consequently, a smart parking system is a crucial component of the fuel waste reduction strategy. The answer to the issues that are The cost of gasoline burned while looking for a parking spot may be reduced overall as well as the user's time and efficiency with the help of smart parking.

Abstract: In India, due to the negligence of the legal systems, transporters loaded the goods vehicles with weights far above the permissible limit. Overloaded vehicles cause extensive road damage and enormous economic losses to society, seriously threatening road safety. Due to overloading, many people lose their lives in accidents, and vehicle fuel consumption increases, resulting in environmental pollution. To create a workable, effective system for the Regional Transport Office department and to generate, and manipulate fines. The proposed system has given the count of incoming and departing passengers which has become a feasible, efficient technique in any Regional Transport Office department. Abstract: The average number of vehicles on the road worldwide has increased as cars and other vehicles become more and more accessible. Our lives are now easier because of the technology and infrastructure that are developing quickly. The advent of technology has also enhanced the risks associated with traffic and Regular traffic accidents result in a number of accidents on this dynamic planet and significant loss of life and property due to inadequate emergency facilities. Accident victims suffer greatly and lose significant time and money as a result. It has been established after careful examination that the majority of accidents and in fatalities as a result of inadequate communication with the appropriate medical authorities and the following lack of urgent medical care. There are many deaths as a result of inadequate crisis management. As a result, this research study intends to provide crisis administrations to the person who meets with an accident as soon as time permits

Abstract: The advancement of the remote monitoring industry has become more level-playing in recent years. This means that companies can now monitor their equipment remotely, without having to be present onsite. With the introduction of wireless S CADA systems, these systems became more affordable and efficient. SCADA systems have advanced significantly in the field of process control in recent years. SCADA is a supervisory control that is very important in the automation industry. Today, SCADA is required to control the process from any distance. Additionally, the potential for additional features such as security, process parameter control, and visualization paves the way for SCADA to become a powerful tool for industrial applications. Using SCADA, the entire process area can be monitored remotely. Automatic process manipulation, warning system, and automatic report generation are huge advantages of SCADA. Wireless SCADA is ideal for industries where it is too expensive to install wired SCADA systems in remote locations. Fortunately, wireless SCADA systems offer all the benefits of wired systems without the expense and hassle of wiring everything. In this study, an innovative prototype of a Zigbee-based wireless S CADA system (ZBWS) is proposed for cost reduction.

Abstract: The upcoming technological era 5G has increased the interest towards IOT significantly, the ability of IOT (Internet of Things) which is able to render and connect multiple IOT devices and its services from any location through various applications makes the use of this technology more efficient towards its future enterprise. The introduction of smart IOT technologies which is the present stream of automation in cars has allowed the devices to connect and communicate from any location. In an overpopulated nation like India finding a parking space for a car is a major concern especially in a metropolitan city, searching for a car parking space may sometimes result in traffic or wrong parkings might lead to penalties and traffic. Here an online booking system of networking devices based on IOT-cloud platform from where the user can get the information of parking slots empty or full in the area of choice and the user can get the information of the number of empty slots in that particular place and can book a parking slot in advance. The system of the model is presented in such a way that car parking update can be done offline without any booking and the update of the car parked at the slot is shown on the website in real time. The proposed project is implemented using 2G GSM SIM800A module with ESP8266 Wi-Fi module, we have used ThingSpeak open -source software for the IOT platform cloud database service through which an end user can use it to check the availability of the parking slot and book it accordingly.Here a systematic car parking sytem model is presented

Abstract: In recent times the concept of smart cities have gained grate popularity. Thanks to the evolution of Internet of things the idea of smart city now seems to be achievable. Consistent efforts are being made in the field of IoT in order to maximize the productivity and reliability of urban infrastructure. Problems such as, traffic congestion, limited car parking facilities and road safety are being addressed by IoT. In this paper, we present an IoT based cloud integrated smart parking system. The proposed Smart Parking system consists of an on-site deployment of an IoT module that is used to monitor and signalize the state of availability of each single parking space. A mobile application is also provided that allows an end user to check the availability of parking space and book a parking slot accordingly. The paper also describes a high-level view of the system architecture. Towards the end, the paper discusses the working of the system in form of a use case that proves the correctness of the proposed model.

Abstract: The growth in low-cost, low-power sensing and communication technologies is creating a pervasive network infrastructure called the Internet of Things (IoT), which enables a wide range of physical objects and environments to be monitored in fine spatial and temporal detail. The detailed, dynamic data that can be collected from these devices provide the basis for new business and government applications in areas such as public safety, transport logistics and environmental management. There has been growing interest in the IoT for realising smart cities, in order to maximise the productivity and reliability of urban infrastructure, such as minimising road congestion and making better use of the limited car parking facilities. In this work, we consider two smart car parking scenarios based on real-time car parking information that has been collected and disseminated by the City of San Francisco, USA and the City of Melbourne, Australia. We present a prediction mechanism for the parking occupancy rate using three feature sets with selected parameters to illustrate the utility of these features. Furthermore, we analyse the relative strengths of different machine learning methods in using these features for prediction.
