Dance is one of the entertainments where the physical movement is the key factor. On the other hand, the main reason why robots are kind of boom is that they have physical body. Combining there two element, a concept of a dancing robot is proposed. First, various kind of factors concerning entertainment and dance is studied. Also we describe the functions required for robots to achieve dancing. Then we describe one of the dancing robot we have developed focusing its hardware functions and show several examples of dance performance we have developed.

Many studies have addressed and explored the effects of video games with an emphasis on violence and aggressive behaviors. This article’s aim is to go beyond the simplistic difference between negative outcomes and their absence by suggesting the concept of “meaningful violence.” For exploring possible instances of such a phenomenon, a content analysis (Gee, 2012) of online materials (online comments, user-generated content) from leading gaming media environments (Reddit, YouTube) was directed targeting the popular video game Overwatch. The theoretical framework adopted drawn its cornerstones from Educational Sciences, Philosophy, and Media Studies, spanning key concepts such as “symbolic imaginary” (Durand, 1999, Wunenburger, 1995) and phenomenological-hermeneutic analysis (Gadamer, 2004). Results point to an alternative overview of gaming violence, which puts in-game aggressiveness and sacrifice in a new light beyond counter-posed viewpoints. Implications are noteworthy for both researchers and practitioners, who can harness positive and proactive processes behind apparently negative attitudes and superficial measurements of explicit content and disruptive actions.

Subcultural ostensive luxury as a creative and mimetic process: The case of the Sapeurs Parisiens:

Este artigo visa a contribuir para a compreensao do risco-aventura, entendido como o conjunto de praticas que recuperam a dimensao positiva dos riscos. Com base na revisao da literatura e apoiado na vertente construcionista da Psicologia Discursiva, propoe um modelo para analise das dimensoes de risco-aventura presentes no turismo de aventura e nos esportes radicais: risco/perigo, adrenalina, aventura, treinamento, uso de equipamentos e relacao com a natureza. Como fonte de dados, utilizamos o site de uma operadora especializada em turismo de aventura e uma entrevista com um praticante de parapente. Os dados coletados foram analisados utilizando arvores de associacao de ideias e mapas dialogicos. Todos os elementos do modelo analitico se fizeram presentes nas duas modalidades de risco-aventura. Porem, o turismo de aventura caracterizou-se pela delegacao do controle do risco a especialistas, enquanto que nos esportes radicais a dimensao treinamento/experiencia foi priorizada, enfatizando-se a responsabilidade individual no controle dos riscos.
