Abstract: İnsan vücudu ile çevre arasında fizyolojik, psikolojik ve fiziksel uyumun memnuniyet verici durumda olmasını gösteren konforun, en önemli bileşenlerinden biri termal konfordur. Kumaşın ısı ve nem iletim özellikleri ve insan vücut yüzeyinden çevreye ısı ve nem iletme yeteneği giysinin termal konforunun belirlenmesinde en önemli faktörlerdir. Bu makalede, materyal, üretim teknolojisi ve kumaş yapısı parametrelerinin termal konfora etkileri konusunda ilgili literatür ışığında bilgiler verilmektedir.

Abstract: Bu arastirmanin amaci, atletizm dalinda amator duzeyde kosu sporuyla ilgilenen atletlerin, antrenman ya da musabakalarda kullandiklari kosu giysilerinde termal, duyusal, fiziksel ve estetik faktorler acisindan karsilastiklari sorunlari tespit etmek, performansa katki saglayan bir unsur olarak giysilerde aradiklari ozellikleri belirlemektir. Arastirmanin evrenini, Turkiye’de amator olarak kosu sporuyla ilgilenen kadin ve erkek kosucular olusturmaktadir. Arastirmada amacli ornekleme tekniklerinden biri olan kartopu orneklemesi kullanilmis ve 189 kosuya anket uygulanmistir. Arastirma sonucunda; atletlerin kosu giysilerinde en cok fiziksel rahatlik ve hafiflige onem verdikleri ve performanslarini en cok etkileyen iki ozellik olarak belirttikleri tespit edilmistir. Atletlerin kosu giysilerinde en cok yasadiklari sorunlarin, cabuk deforme olma, serin tutma ozelligine sahip olmama, terletme ve nopelenme oldugu, hareket kolayligi ve vucuda uyum saglama ve ise kosu giysilerinden beklenen ilk iki ozellik oldugu saptanmistir. Arastirma sonuclarinin, kosu sporunda sportif performansin artirilmasina ve ayni zamanda sporcu sagliginin korunmasina yonelik olarak hem akademik hem de hazir giyim sektoru bazinda giysi konforu konusunda yapilacak arastirma ve gelistirme faaliyetlerine yol gosterici olacagi dusunulmektedir

Abstract: Purpose: This research aimed to test the influential factors that lead to the popularity of sportswear brands like Adidas AG in consumers from the perspective of physical education students.Methodology: The methodology utilized in this research was descriptive and based on a survey. The data collection tools used for brand popularity took from Carroll and Ahuvia (2006) questionnaires. The statistical population of the study included 457 students of physical education at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. According to the Cochran formula, 210 samples were chosen by a simple random sampling method. The K-S test, T-test, and SEM were used for the confirmatory factor of data analysis.Findings: The results revealed a significant positive correlation of factors affecting brand popularity. The affection to a brand had a significant impact, while the attitude strength component had the most negligible influential effect on the popularity of a brand. Thus, sportswear apparel manufacturers may plan and apply these components to increase the popularity of their brand. The sportswear industry could improve along with brands increasing their market share in competitive markets through the affection of consumers and implementing other components of brand popularity.Originality: For the first time, the popularity of a reputable sports brand in the world has been investigated in Iran.

Abstract: Sport is a necessary element for maintaining life in a healthier and more balanced way. There has been a rising trend of wearing sportswear in daily life besides sports. Developments in technology have raised expectations from sportswear. Individuals expect not only durability, design and being fashionable, but also demand performance and clothing comfort. This study aims to investigate university students’ awareness while buying sportswear. Professional sportsmen from Physical Education and Sports School students and Textile Engineering students having technical knowledge about clothes are included in this study. 100 students from each group were interviewed face to face. Results showed that Textile Engineering students pay more attention to technical characteristics due to their knowledge, however, aesthetic properties are revealed to be another important factor affecting buying decision. Buying decision of Physical Education and Sports School students is expected to be positively affected if they are given a seminar about raw material properties.

Abstract: Son yillarda tuketicilerin tekstil urunlerinden beklentilerinin artmasi ve giysi tercihlerinde konforun on siralarda yer almaya baslamasiyla birlikte arastirmacilar ile tekstil ve hazir giyim ureticileri daha konforlu giysi sistemlerinin gelistirilmesi konusuna yogunlasmislardir. Yapay sinir aglari sistemleri ise bu gelismelere katkida bulunmaya calisan arastirma teknikleri arasinda yer almaktadir. Literaturde, cesitli kumas parametreleri ile giyim konforu arasindaki iliskiyi analiz etmek amaciyla istatistiksel yontemler kullanilarak bircok arastirma yapilmistir. Ancak kullanilan istatistiksel yontemlerde bazi kisitlamalar bulunmaktadir. Istatistiksel modellemede karsilasilan en yaygin problemlerden birisi giyim konforunu etkileyen farkli parametrelerin giyim konforu ile dogrusal olmayan iliskisidir. Yapay sinir aglari sistemleri butun parametrelerin ortaklasa etkisini goz onunde bulundurarak tahminleme yapmaya calisan yontemlerden bir tanesi olarak bilinmektedir. Bu calisma kapsaminda giyim konforunun tahminlenmesinde yapay sinir aglari sistemlerinin kullanimina yonelik bir literatur arastirmasi yapilmistir.. In recent years, with the increasing of consumers' expectations from textile products, researchers and producers of textile and apparel sectors focused on development of comfortable clothing systems. Artificial neural networks systems are research techniques that are trying to contribute to these developments. There are a lot of researches in literature about analysing relationship between clothing comfort and parameters of fabrics using statistical methods. On the other hand, there are some limitations in using them. One of the most common problems encountered in statistical modelling is non-linear relationship between clothing comfort and the parameters of fabrics. Artificial neural networks systems are known trying to make prediction considering all the impact of the parameters together. In this study, a literature research was performed about using artificial neural networks in prediction of clothing comfort.

Bu arastirmanin amaci, Ceza Infaz Kurumlari`nda gorev yapan infaz ve koruma memurlarinin uniformalarindan model, kumas, kalip ve dikim ozellikleri konusunda yasadiklari sorunlari tespit etmektir. Arastirmada, Ankara Sincan Cezaevi Kampusu` ndeki kurumlarda gorev yapan 234 infaz ve koruma memuruna anket uygulanmistir. Arastirma sonucunda; tisort ve pantolonda en cok rahatliga, montta ise dayanikliliga onem verdikleri gorulmustur. Rahatlik duzeyi en dusuk olan urunun pantolon oldugu, yazlik tisortte kumas renginden, kislik tisortte kumas dokusundan, montta model ozelliginden, pantolonda ise hareketleri kisitlamasindan rahatsiz olduklari belirlenmistir. Uniformada kalip formundan kaynaklanan sorunlarla cinsiyet arasinda anlamli bir iliski oldugu saptanmistir.
