Abstract: The invention relates to a method for preparing an aromatic hydrocarbon through light hydrocarbon aromatization. A purpose of the present invention is to mainly solve the problems of easy coking, rapid deactivation and low yield of aromatic hydrocarbons of the light hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst in the prior art. The technical scheme comprises that 1) a light hydrocarbon raw material is separated in an absorption tower to obtain absorption tail gas and an absorption liquid; 2) the absorption tail gas enters an ethylene recovery unit, and is separated into ethylene, hydrogen and fuel gas, wherein ethylene enters a light hydrocarbon aromatization reactor; 3) the absorption liquid is separated in a pentane removing tower, and is separated into an aromatization reaction raw material and aheavy component stream; 4) the heavy component stream is divided into two streams, wherein one stream used as an absorbent returns to the absorption tower, and the other stream is used as a first aromatic hydrocarbon stream product; 5) the aromatization reaction raw material and the ethylene are fed into the light hydrocarbon aromatization reactor; 6) the light hydrocarbon aromatization reactionproduct is cooled, and the cooled product is separated in a gas-liquid separator to obtain circulation light hydrocarbons and a second aromatic hydrocarbon stream product; and 7) the circulation lighthydrocarbons return the absorption tower. With the technical scheme, the problems in the prior art are well solved. The method of the present invention can be used in the industrial production of light hydrocarbon aromatization.
