TL;DR: In order to facilitate the placing of gypsum plasterboards, the boards are provided on their surface with a marking, which comprises length scales extending along regularly spaced apart lines which are parallel to the edges of the board as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: In order to facilitate the placing of gypsum plasterboards, the boards are provided on their surface with a marking, which comprises length scales extending along regularly spaced apart lines which are parallel to the edges of the board. The marking may preferably be applied in the form of paints which fade under the action of light.

TL;DR: A ball-and-stick model system representing alpha carbon positions and the peptide link between adjacent alpha carbons as modeling elements of two-piece sets is presented in this article.
Abstract: A ball-and-stick model system representing alpha carbon positions and the peptide link between adjacent alpha carbons as modeling elements of two-piece sets. Each two-piece set comprises complementary ring rods and ball rods, the latter having a generally cylindrical body enlarged at one end to a sphere form with a slot through a portion of the enlargement. The ring rod also includes a generally cylindrical body with an enlarged end portion to fit snugly within the slot of the ball rod so that when they are fitted together they appear as a sphere with the cylindrical body portions extending outwardly therefrom. The cylindrical portions of adjacent model sets are united by a pintle and hole structure configured so that when fitted together a continuous cylindrical body extends between adjacent spheres. Scales and indices are arranged on the adjacent surfaces of the rod and ball elements to mark the angles or bend and torsion of consecutive amino acids in the molecule and the sets are color coded to identify particular amino acids in the molecule.

TL;DR: An arrangement for simulating the layout of architectural interiors to a predetermined scale is presented in this article, where wall panels may be arranged in any desired configuration upon a floor base having scales marked upon its surface from which the dimension and area of a room or similar space may be readily obtained.
Abstract: An arrangement for simulating the layout of architectural interiors to a predetermined scale Wall panels may be arranged in any desired configuration upon a floor base having scales marked upon its surface from which the dimension and area of a room or similar space may be readily obtained Doors, windows and wall decorations may be freely located on the wall panels through magnetic attraction effects Interior furnishings are designed to scale, and have an appearance simulating the actual furniture to be placed within the full scale interiors

TL;DR: In this article, a plan element representation is mounted on a base or base in unambiguous relation to reference lines on the base or bases, and a mensuration strip is removably mounted in direct identifying relation to particular identified reference lines.
Abstract: Information relevant to proposed construction is conveyed by mounting planning element representations on a base or bases in unambiguous relation to reference lines on the base or bases. A mensuration strip is removably mounted in direct identifying relation to particular identified reference lines. The base has a multiplicity of holes consistently positioned with respect to and spaced along the reference lines. Representations of planning elements in the form of model pieces, dimensionally stable and self-supporting, each has a plurality of pegs projecting from an edge, the pegs being spaced to fit into spaced ones of the holes in the base. Saddle-shaped opening designations are removably mounted on dimensionally stable self-supporting model wallpieces. A flat pattern of a building model may be used, scale related to spacing of holes in a base, suitable for penetration by model piece pegs. Indicia of reference standard details are mounted in unambiguous relation to at least one reference line on the base and in clear relation to a representation of a planning element. Construction details may be a part of a representation of a planning element. Exterior building (facing) elements, e.g., outside wall surfaces, doors, windows, roof surfaces, on a common scale, mounted in projective relationship, in the relation of elevation to plan, to model pieces on the base. Information conveyed by the reference lines, mensuration strip and indicia of reference standard details being assimilable by a digital computer.
