Abstract: PURPOSE:To remarkably simplify a structure and miniaturize an apparatus, by cutting a ground fish meat for preparing 'CHIKUWA' (bamboo-shaped, broiled fish-paste cake) extruded into the front half part of an upper semicircle of a rotating drum. CONSTITUTION:Ground fish meat (S) for 'CHIKUWA', passed from a feeder through a pipe into a nozzle 54 is extruded to a prescribed width and thickness and then cut by a piano wire 60 horizontally stretched by a pair of fingers 59 of a cutter 56. The cut ground fish meat (S) is then placed on the front half part 59; on an upper semicircle of a rotating drum 58 having a thin cloth 64, wound thereabout and wetted by supplying water with a rotating brush 68, transferred to a lower curved part of the conveying passage and subsequently wound around a skewer 16 passing through the lower curved part.
