Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced production of laccase and pectinase using co-culture of Trametes hirsuta and Phanerochaete sp. through EVOP-factorial design technique

TL;DR: Optimum yield of laccase and pectinase was achieved at 34 °C, pH 4.5 with 1.75:1.5 wheatbran: pulse husk: mustard peel as substrate, which was 2–3 times higher than the outcomes of one factor at a time method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Production and Purification of Pectinase from Bacillus subtilis 15A-B92 and Its Biotechnological Applications

TL;DR: The obtained pectinase was able to clarify orange and apple juices, justifying its application in the food industry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular characterization of polygalacturonase producing Klebsiella and Staphylococcus species by 16S rRNA sequencing collected from rotten fruits and vegetables

TL;DR: Pectinases are of commercial importance due to their application in manufacturing fruit juices, paper, textile and jute retting for its up gradation and the isolation of bacteria from different habitats for the production of the enzyme polygalacturonase is concerned.
Journal Article

SCREENING OF A PECTINOLYTIC FUNGAL STRAIN; Aspergillus foetidus MTCC 10367 FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MULTIPLE ENZYMES OF INDUSTRIAL IMPORTANCE

TL;DR: The ability of Aspergillus foetidus to produce varieties of hydrolytic enzymes is revealed and provides additional information to support future research about industrial potential of this fungal isolate.
