TLDR
It is demonstrated that miR‐133b down‐regulates Foxl2 expression in granulosa cells by directly targeting the 3′UTR, thus inhibiting the Foxl 2‐mediated transcriptional repression of StAR and CYP19A1 to promote estradiol production.

MicroRNAs in ovarian follicular atresia and granulosa cell apoptosis

TL;DR: A deep understanding of the roles of miRNA networks will not only help elucidate the mechanisms of GC apoptosis, follicular development, atresia and their disorders but also offer new diagnostic and treatment strategies for infertility and other ovarian dysfunctions.

Analysis of relative gene expression data using real-time quantitative pcr and the 2(-delta delta c(t)) method

TL;DR: The 2-Delta Delta C(T) method as mentioned in this paper was proposed to analyze the relative changes in gene expression from real-time quantitative PCR experiments, and it has been shown to be useful in the analysis of realtime, quantitative PCR data.

The biology of infertility: research advances and clinical challenges

TL;DR: The past six years have witnessed a virtual explosion in the identification of gene mutations or polymorphisms that cause or are linked to human infertility, but translation of these findings to the clinic remains slow, however, as do new methods to diagnose and treat infertile couples.
