In this article, the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution, and algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.
Abstract
For studying k variables in N runs, all 2 k–p designs of maximum resolution are not equally good. In this paper the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution. Algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.

Selecting 2m−p Designs Using a Minimum Aberration Criterion When Some Two-Factor Interactions Are Important

Weiming Ke, +1 more
- 01 Nov 2003 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider the problem of selecting appropriate 2m−p designs when some two-factor interactions are important and propose a minimum aberration criterion to minimize the contamination of these nonnegligible effects on the model.

Minimum projection uniformity criterion and its application

TL;DR: Fang and Qin this article proposed the minimum projection uniformity criterion to assess and compare two-level factorials and applied it to orthogonal arrays and supersaturated designs.

A Class of Optimal Robust Parameter Designs

TL;DR: In this article, the work on model-robust factorial designs of Li and Nachtsheim is applied to robust designs where all factors are control-by-noise interactions.

Optimal foldover plans for blocked 2m-k fractional factorial designs

TL;DR: Sun et al. as mentioned in this paper explored the use of the foldover technique as applied to blocked regular fractional factorial designs and obtained optimal blocking schemes for 2 n and 2 n -p designs with nine or fewer factors.

Design catalog based on minimum G-aberration

TL;DR: In this article, the same authors examined the same problem by considering all orthogonal arrays and obtained some results on designs of run size 28 or higher, and indeed found minimum G-aberration designs that cannot be embedded into Hadamard matrices.

- 01 Dec 1976 -
TL;DR: Incomplete Factorials, Fractional Replication, Intermediate Factorial, and Nested Designs as discussed by the authors are some of the examples of incomplete Factorial Experiments and incomplete fractional replicates.
