In this article, the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution, and algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.
Abstract
For studying k variables in N runs, all 2 k–p designs of maximum resolution are not equally good. In this paper the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution. Algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.

Selecting 2m-p designs using a minimum aberration criterion when some two-factor interactions are importan

Weiming Ke, +1 more

TL;DR: This work proposes and studies a minimum aberration criterion and examines how to search for the best designs according to this criterion, and presents some results for designs of 16 and 32 runs.

Construction of blocked two-level regular designs with general minimum lower order confounding

TL;DR: Wei et al. as discussed by the authors obtained the B1-GMC 2 n − m : 2 r designs with n ≥ 5 N / 16 + 1, where 2 r denotes a two-level regular blocked design with n = 2 n−m runs, n treatment factors, and 2 r blocks.

Critical factors and their effects on product maturity in food waste composting

TL;DR: Evaluation results of compost maturity for the eight experiment runs demonstrated that the proposed method is capable of evaluating the compost maturity in food waste composting, and effect analyses indicated that the starting culture amount and aeration rate contributed the most to the compost mature in this study.

Construction of two-level split-lot fractional factorial designs for multistage processes

TL;DR: In this article, split-lot designs are constructed for two, three, and four processing stages and minimize in various senses the confounding of main effects and two-factor interactions with the sublots at each stage.
