A noble additive cum compatibilizer for dispersion of nanoclay into ethylene octene elastomer
Soumya Mondal,Amit Das,Joyeeta Bandyopadhyay,Suprakas Sinha Ray,Gert Heinrich,Abhijit Bandyopadhyay +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a poly(ethylene-co-octene)-poly(methylene- co-vinyl acetate) double network hybrid was introduced as a noble additive cum compatibilizer for poly(methylenesco-co -octene) (POE) and showed that the addition of only 0.5 mass% of the hybrid into POE has raised the net crystallinity from 29% to 59%.

Plasticization of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) through chemical grafting of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) via in situ reactive blending
TL;DR: In this article, low molecular weight acrylated poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) was grafted onto poly(lactic acid) (PLA) via a reactive blending to improve its plasticity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of ionomer characteristics on reactions and properties of poly(lactic acid) ternary blends prepared by reactive blending
TL;DR: In this paper, the impact strength of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and EBA-GMA was studied by reactive blending PLA with EBA GMA terpolymer and zinc ion-containing ionomer.

Reactive blending of poly(ethylene terephthalate) and bisphenol-A polycarbonate: effect of various catalysts and mixing time on the extent of exchange reactions
TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic activity towards exchange reactions in poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET)-bisphenol-A polycarbonate (PC) reactive blending was compared for various lanthanide compounds (based on europium, cerium, samarium, terbium and erbium), and for titanium-and calcium/antimony-based catalysts.

Novel hybrid systems based on poly(propylene-g-maleic anhydride) and Ti-POSS by direct reactive blending
TL;DR: In this paper, a hybrid system based on maleic anhydride-grafted polypropylene (PPgMA) and home-made Ti-containing amino polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (Ti-POSS-NH 2 ) has been compared with those of systems based on a non-reactive POSS (POSS).

Siyamak Safapour,Mirhadi Seyed-Esfahani,Finizia Auriemma,Odda Ruiz de Ballesteros,P. Vollaro,Rocco Di Girolamo,Claudio De Rosa,Ali Khosroshahi +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the structure and properties of blends of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) with poly(trimethylene Terephthalates) (PTT) at PTT concentration ≤ 30 ¼ kg, obtained with three different methods: from solution, melt extrusion, and direct spinning, are investigated.
