TLDR
In this paper, a compound quadratic distorted (QD) grating and the polarization multiplexing technique are combined for multi-plane multi-object imaging and the results showed that the proposed method is capable of imaging 3D objects consisting of unequal distance-layers.

Phase chaotic encryption and efficiency evaluation for an image multiplexing method

TL;DR: A new form of chaotic encryption of information contained in a multiplexed package, in which it has been possible to compress an amount of 1521 gray level images of human faces in a complex function, by using theta modulation and dynamic range optimization techniques is proposed.

Multiplane imaging with extended field-of-view using a quadratically distorted grating

TL;DR: In this paper, a quadratically distorted grating is used to not only allow out-of-focus planes to be imaged in focus, but also to bring objects into the field of view that otherwise would not be acquired.

Study of the Off-Axis Fresnel Zone Plate of a Microscopic Tomographic Aberration

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors proposed a method for the design of an off-axis Fresnel zone plate with the elimination of aberrations based on double exposure point holographic surface interference.

Feasible polarised white-light emission based on conjugate plane-structured yellow/blue dye molecules encapsulated in metal–organic frameworks

TL;DR: In this article, a two-stage hierarchical growth method was used to encapsulate the blue KSN and yellow RhB molecules into a MOF crystal, and a polarised white-light emission was obtained, with CIE coordinates of (0.3285, 0.3204) and a polarization ratio of 2.98.

Simultaneous multiplane imaging with a distorted diffraction grating

TL;DR: A simple technique for simultaneously imaging multiple layers within an object field onto a single camera using a binary diffraction grating in which the lines are distorted such that a different level of defocus is associated with each diffraction order.

Live-cell multiplane three-dimensional super-resolution optical fluctuation imaging

TL;DR: Multiplane 3D SOFI is demonstrated by imaging fluorescently labelled cells over an imaged volume of up to 65 × 65 × 3.5 μm3 without depth scanning and shows that the depth sampling can be increased.

Multiplane imaging and three dimensional nanoscale particle tracking in biological microscopy

TL;DR: A microscope attachment is presented which records sharp images from several object-planes simultaneously, exploiting this multiplane imaging not just for bio-imaging but also for nano-particle tracking, achieving approximately 10 nm z position resolution by parameterising the images with an image sharpness metric.

Three-dimensional nanometry of vesicle transport in living cells using dual-focus imaging optics.

TL;DR: Three-dimensional positions of the vesicles labeled with quantum dots were detected in living cells, indicating that dynein moved on microtubules without changing the protofilaments.
