To provide an egg container made of a thermoplastic resin foam which can prevent eggs from being broken by an impulse, even when an impulse inside and outside acts, in a state where the eggs are stored.SOLUTION: An egg container 10 is made of a thermoplastic resin foam constituted by a plurality of foamed particles fused with each other. The egg container 10 has a bottom wall part 11 and a side wall part 12 standing vertically from the periphery of the bottom wall part 11, and a storage recess 15 for storing an egg is formed in a space surrounded by the bottom wall part 11 and the side wall part 12.
