Abstract
This paper embodies the results of a preliminary survey of the aphid fauna from Kuti Valley (3,658–6,630 metre), Uttar Pradesh, India. Seventeen species, distributed over 12 genera, are reported, of which Macrosiphoniella sudhakaris, Paczoskia budhium and Uroleucon kumaoni are new. The apterous form of Micromyzus judenkoi Carver is also described for the first time. Alate males for Brevicoryne brassicae (Kltb.), Chaetosiphon (Pentatrichopus) fragaefoli (Cockerell), Dysaphis sp.t and Jacksonia sp. are recorded for the first time from India.
