TLDR
In this paper, a theoretical analysis of vibratory feeding on a track vibrating with simple harmonic motion and incorporating the possible states of body motion is presented, where states of motion cover both the contact and non-contact states, and each state of motion is considered separately when determining the equations of motion.

Phase and speed synchronization control of four eccentric rotors driven by induction motors in a linear vibratory feeder with unknown time-varying load torques using adaptive sliding mode control algorithm

TL;DR: In this paper, phase and speed synchronization control of four eccentric rotors (ERs) driven by induction motors in a linear vibratory feeder with unknown time-varying load torques is studied.

Concept, modeling and experimental characterization of the modulated friction inertial drive (MFID) locomotion principle

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a new locomotion concept based on stepping motion considering a decoupling of the two essential functions of a locomotion principle: slip generation and slip variation.

Chaotic dynamics of repeated impacts in vibratory bowl feeders

I. Han, +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a simplified model and analysis for the dynamic behavior of a single part on the vibrating track of the bowl feeder, and verified experimentally that the conveying rate in the chaotic region is roughly independent of variations of external parameters.

Dynamic analysis of vibratory feeder and their effect on feed particle speed on conveying surface

TL;DR: In this article, a dynamic analysis of the vibratory feeder is conducted theoretically and the obtained results are validated with experimental values corresponding to the various operating frequencies of the feeder unit.

Vibratory feeder motion study using Turbo C++ language

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the dynamic behavior of the linear vibratory feeder, which is normally used to convey small parts in a manufacturing environment, and developed a computer program, written in Turbo C++, to simulate the dynamic behaviour.
