Abstract: ニワトリにおける結合型及び遊離型アスコルビン酸の生理的意義を解明するために,まず,ニワトリにおける両型アスコルビン酸の体内分布を調べた。白色レグホーン種雄鶏を用い,血漿及び臓器について結合型及び遊離型アスコルビン酸をそれぞれ定量した。結合型と遊離型アスコルビン酸の分離は,セファデックスG-25Mを用いるゲル濾過により行い,結合型は高分子画分に,遊離型は低分子画分に,それぞれ分離されることがわかった。結合型アスコルビン酸濃度は,副腎で最も高く,ついで,肝臓,肺,甲状腺,脾臓,腎臓>膵臓,脳>精巣>血漿の順に低かった。一方,遊離型アスコルビン酸濃度は,副腎で最も高く,ついで,脾臓>脳>肝臓>肺>甲状腺,膵臓,精巣>腎臓の順に低く,血漿で最も低い値を示した。また,遊離型に対する結合型の割合は,血漿及び各臓器において,いずれも50%以下で,一般に結合型は遊離型より少なかった。すなわち,総アスコルビン酸量に対する結合型アスコルビン酸量の割合は,血漿で最も高く(29.9%),ついで腎臓で高かったが,臓器間では大差はみられず,約3～17%の範囲内にあった。以上の結果から,ニワトリにおける結合型アスコルビン酸と遊離型アスコルビン酸の濃度は各臓器間で異なった傾向を示し,結合型は遊離型より一般に少ないことが明らかになった。しかし,両型アスコルビン酸の生理作用の違い及び生理的意義については,今後の検討が必要である。
