Abstract: Purpose - To analyze whether the concepts of industry 4.0 and the circular economy are integrated or disjointed, recognizing which keywords are most used in the literature regarding this relationship and the occurrence. Design/methodology/approach – A bibliometric study and keyword study were used to recognize which were the most latent actions and strategies in the study of integration. The software VOSviewer was used to study the keywords. Findings - The concepts of industry 4.0 and the circular economy can be considered interconnected, with some limitations explored in the article, along with proposed future research opportunities on the subject. Originality/value - This study contributes to business managers in the sense that it facilitates an understanding that industry 4.0 and the circular economy can be used together. The result of the keywords identifies which skills, strategies, technologies and fundamentals the company should develop to make the circular economy effective, through industry 4.0. For academic research, another study has contributed to the integration of industry 4.0 and the circular economy, which is not found very often in the literature. Keywords were also mapped, which, until now, had not been developed in existing articles on integration, in addition to proposing a framework that can be transformed and suggesting research opportunities. Abstract: Providing affordable, safe, and reliable care while improving performance and efficiency remains a challenge in the healthcare sector. This study reviews the previous researches on the effect of lean manufacturing practice (LMP) and industrial revolution 4.0 technologies (IR 4.0 tech) on sustainability; however, there is still a paucity of literature on the implementation of the practices in the healthcare sector. Although studies have shown that LMP has significantly impacted organizational performance in the manufacturing industry, the integrated effects of LMP and IR 4.0 technologies on sustainable performance have not been empirically examined in the healthcare sector. This study, therefore, intends to have a preliminary conceptual approach to the joint effect of LPM and IR 4.0 technologies on sustainability before subsequently going for an empirical study to address the gap in the sector. The study aimed to confirm the future direction of the public health sector that has recently been employing new technologies in its service systems. The consequent study shall be based on data collected from the health practitioners who are working and familiar with the smart tools to expedite services for healthcare. However, this present study unfolds the significant contribution of operations management practices and how sustainable performance can be enhanced through performance variation and strategic implementation in the healthcare sector. Lean practices and IR 4.0 technologies lead to improvement and operational sustainability when fully implemented in the healthcare sector.

Abstract: Improvement of manufacturing production is crucial to increase productivity. ARENA is a useful simulation application to imitate the real-time result for measuring productivity. The aim of this research is to execute production smoothness improvement through ARENA simulation application. This is a collection of production information of the selected food industry, as a real case study to construct simulation model in ARENA application. From the simulation, the current manufacturing system of the food industry will be analysed. Based on the issues found,a few improvementswere suggestedfor the system. In order to prove the enforceability of the improved system, the simulation model of the improved system is to construct and analyse its real-time performance via ARENA simulation application. Finally, the most suitable improvement suggestion will be proposed for the food industry. In conclusion, this study had implemented the ARENA application to improve the smoothness of the manufacturing system.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to propose a framework to position sustainable entrepreneurship in relation to sustainability innovation. The framework builds on a typology of sustainable entrepreneurship, develops it by including social and institutional entrepreneurship, i.e. the application of the entrepreneurial approach towards meeting societal goals and towards changing market contexts, and relates it to sustainability innovation. The framework provides a reference for managers to introduce sustainability innovation and to pursue sustainable entrepreneurship. Methodologically, the paper develops an approach of qualitative measurement of sustainable entrepreneurship and how to assess the position of a company in a classification matrix. The degree of environmental or social responsibility orientation in the company is assessed on the basis of environmental and social goals and policies, the organization of environmental and social management in the company and the communication of environmental and social issues. The market impact of the company is measured on the basis of market share, sales growth and reactions of competitors. The paper finds conditions under which sustainable entrepreneurship and sustainability innovation emerge spontaneously. The research has implications for theory and practitioners in that it clarifies which firms are most likely under specific conditions to make moves towards sustainability innovation. The paper makes a contribution in showing that extant research needs to be expanded with regard to motivations for innovation and that earlier models of sustainable entrepreneurship need to be refined. Abstract: Summary Since 1989, efforts to understand the nature of interfirm resource sharing in the form of industrial symbiosis and to replicate in a deliberate way what was largely self-organizing in Kalundborg, Denmark have followed many paths, some with much success and some with very little. This article provides a historical view of the motivations and means for pursuing industrial symbiosis—defined to include physical exchanges of materials, energy, water, and by-products among diversified clusters of firms. It finds that “uncovering” existing symbioses has led to more sustainable industrial development than attempts to design and build eco-industrial parks incorporating physical exchanges. By examining 15 proposed projects brought to national and international attention by the U.S. President’s Council on Sustainable Development beginning in the early 1990s, and contrasting these with another 12 projects observed to share more elements of self-organization, recommendations are offered to stimulate the identification and uncovering of already existing “kernels” of symbiosis. In addition, policies and practices are suggested to identify early-stage precursors of potentially larger symbioses that can be nurtured and developed further. The article concludes that environmentally and economically desirable symbiotic exchanges are all around us and now we must shift our gaze to find and foster them.
