Abstract
Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure and heterogeneous catalytic activities of Cu-containing polymeric compounds: anion effect and comparison of homogeneous vs. heterogeneous catalytic activity.

TL;DR: The polymeric compound 3 showed an efficient catalytic activity and regioselective reactivity in the ring opening of epoxides and allowed reuse without a significant loss of activity through three runs with epoxide.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural and luminescence studies of nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes with (1R,2R)-cyclohexanediamine derived unsymmetric Schiff base

TL;DR: Unsymmetrical Schiff base obtained by the condensation reaction of (1R,2R)(-)cyclohexanediamine with 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde and 2-Hydroxynaphthaldehyde was used as a ligand for copper(II) and nickel(II), and spectra of the complexes in solution are characteristic for tetrahedral planar distortion of the chelate ring.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterisation of some N-alkyl/aryl and N,N′-dialkyl/aryl thiourea cadmium(II) complexes: the single crystal X-ray structures of [CdCl2(CS(NH2)NHCH3)2]n and [CdCl2(CS(NH2)NHCH2CH3)2]

TL;DR: A series of cadmium(II) complexes with N -alkyl or aryl and N,N?-dialkyl or diaryl thioureas (RNHCSNHR?; where R /R? / CH3,C H 2CH3,C 6H5 and or R? /H) have been synthesised and characterised.

Uranyl and uranyl-3d block cation complexes with 1,3-adamantanedicarboxylate: crystal structures, luminescence, and magnetic properties.

TL;DR: The reaction of 1,3-adamantanedicarboxylic acid with uranyl nitrate under solvo-hydrothermal conditions, either alone or in the presence of additional metal cations, gives a series of nine complexes displaying a wide range of architectures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure and optical properties of rare-earth benzene carboxylates

TL;DR: The La (I), Pr (Ia), and Nd (Ib) compound shows interesting UV and blue emission through an up-conversion process, indicating a ligand-sensitized metal-centered emission.
