Abstract
Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Synthesis of Titanium CCC-NHC Pincer Complexes and Catalytic Hydroamination of Unactivated Alkenes

TL;DR: The previously reported amine elimination methodology using group 4 tetrakis(dimethylamido) starting materials for the synthesis of CCC-NHC pincer Zr and Hf complexes has been extended to include Ti as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photochemical route to actinide-transition metal bonds: synthesis, characterization and reactivity of a series of thorium and uranium heterobimetallic complexes.

TL;DR: Characterization by single-crystal X-ray diffraction revealed that elimination of the bridging carbonyl and formation of the metal-metal bond is accompanied by coordination of a phosphine arm from the N4P3 ligand to the cobalt center.

A Donor–Acceptor–Donor Structured Organic Conductor with S···S Chalcogen Bonding

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel thiophene derivative 7,9-di(thiophen-2-yl)-8H-cyclopenta[a]acenaphthylen-8-one (DTCPA) is shown to exhibit high electrical conductivity (1.97 × 10−2 ± 0.0018 S/cm at RT) in the crystalline state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cytotoxic activity, albumin and DNA binding of new copper(II) complexes with chalcone-derived thiosemicarbazones.

TL;DR: The cytotoxic activities of the thiosemicarbazones and complexes (1-4) were tested against HL60 (wild type human promyelocytic leukemia), Jurkat (human immortalized line of T lymphocyte), MDA-MB 231 and HCT-116 (human colorectal carcinoma) tumor cell lineages.

Crystal Engineering of Organic Salts: Hydrogen-Bonded Supramolecular Motifs in Pyrimethamine Hydrogen Glutarate and Pyrimethamine Formate

TL;DR: In this paper, the carboxylate group of the respective anions (hydrogen glutarate and formate) interacts with the protonated pyrimidine moiety in a near linear fashion through a pair of N−H···O hydrogen bonds.
