Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Heteroleptic platinum(II) NHC complexes with a C^C* cyclometalated ligand – synthesis, structure and photophysics
Alexander Tronnier,Ute Heinemeyer,Stefan Metz,Gerhard Wagenblast,Ingo Muenster,Thomas Strassner +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the photophysical measurements in amorphous PMMA films reveal quantum yields of up to 85% with an emission maximum in the blue region and comparatively short decay lifetimes (3.6 μs).
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of 3,6-disubstituted 7H-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-b]-1,3,4-thiadiazines as novel analgesic/anti-inflammatory compounds.
TL;DR: Most of the compounds showed significant activity in both carrageenan-induced oedema and acetic acid-induced writhing tests besides negligible gastrointestinal toxicity, and showed less lipid peroxidation (LPO) level.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nitrite reduction by copper complexes
TL;DR: Initial catalytic investigations reveal that these simple model complexes display a wide range of catalytic turnover rates, conversion yields and product gas compositions, which suggest that further investigations into the design and use of copper complexes as nitrite reduction catalysts are warranted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Polymorphism in 1-(4-fluorophenyl)-3,6,6-trimethyl-2-phenyl-1,5,6,7-tetrahydro-4H-indol-4-one: A subtle interplay of weak intermolecular interactions
TL;DR: In this article, structural features associated with polymorphism in an anti-implantation agent have been made in terms of morphology, single-crystal structure, powder X-ray diffraction, and differential scanning calorimetric measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antimony(V) and Bismuth(V) Complexes of Lapachol: Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Cytotoxic Activity
Ludmila Gonçalvez de Oliveira,Meiriane Mariano da Silva,Flávia C. S. de Paula,Elene C. Pereira-Maia,Claudio Luis Donnici,Carlos A. de Simone,Frédéric Frézard,Eufrânio N. da Silva Júnior,Cynthia Demicheli +8 more
TL;DR: Both compounds inhibited the growth of a chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line and the complex of Bi(V) was about five times more active than free lapachol.
