Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Journal ArticleDOI
Towards direct correlations between spin-crossover and structural features in iron(II) complexes.
TL;DR: It is revealed that the packing, in a first approximation, is similar in both forms of the [Fe(PM-BiA)(2)(NCS)(2)] complex, and this result is extended to all the SCO iron(II) complexes belonging to the same family of the general formula.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nonlinear optical properties of some derivatives of salicylaldimine-based ligands
TL;DR: A series of potential nonlinear optical (NLO) compounds, (−OH) and (−Cl) substituted derivatives of salicylaldimine-based ligands 1−6 (Fig. 2), was designed and synthesized as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cytotoxic iron chelators: characterization of the structure, solution chemistry and redox activity of ligands and iron complexes of the di-2-pyridyl ketone isonicotinoyl hydrazone (HPKIH) analogues
TL;DR: Collectively, studies on the solution chemistry and structure of these HPKIH analogues indicate that they can bind cellular Fe and enhance its redox activity, resulting in oxidative damage to vital biomolecules.
Journal ArticleDOI
Utilization of self-sorting processes to generate dynamic combinatorial libraries with new network topologies.
TL;DR: Self-sorting behavior was used to construct dynamic combinatorial libraries of macrocycles, in which two four-component sub-libraries are connected by two common building blocks, which influences the adaptive behavior of the library as demonstrated in selection experiments with lithium ions as the target.

Synthesis and first applications of a new family of chiral monophosphine ligand: 2,5-diphenylphosphospholanes
Frédéric Guillen,Michael Rivard,Martial Toffano,Jean-Yves Legros,Jean-Claude Daran,Jean-Claude Fiaud +5 more
TL;DR: The cyclic phosphinic acid 1-hydroxy-1-r-oxo-2c,5-t-diphenylphospholane was synthesized and resolved into enantiomers through fractional crystallization of the quinine salts as discussed by the authors.
