Abstract
Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Osmium(II)--versus ruthenium(II)--arene carbohydrate-based anticancer compounds: similarities and differences.

TL;DR: Within this series of Os compounds, in vitro anticancer activity is highest for the most lipophilic chlorido complex dichlorido(eta(6)-p-cymene)(3,5,6-bicyclophosphite-1,2-O-cyclohexylidene-alpha-D-glucofuranoside)osmium(II).

Crystal Structure of Haloalkane Dehalogenase LinB from Sphingomonas paucimobilis UT26 at 0.95 Å Resolution: Dynamics of Catalytic Residues

TL;DR: The results presented here indicate that the positions of the catalytic residues and charge state of the catalysttic base are important for determining reaction energetics in LinB.

Phosphates sensing: two polyamino-phenolic zinc receptors able to discriminate and signal phosphates in water.

TL;DR: NMR studies supported the model of interaction proposed between guests and receptors, highlighting that Zn(II)-dinuclear systems studied as receptors for phosphates are also able to bind biological phosphates such as G6P and ATP at physiological pH.

A Single Sensitizer for the Excitation of Visible and NIR Lanthanide Emitters in Water with High Quantum Yields

TL;DR: The versatile octadentate TIAM ligand forms lanthanide (Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho) complexes with high quantum yields in water and shields the metal center from solvent quenching, as shown by an X-ray diffraction study of the Ho complex.

Polymeric networks of copper(II) using succinate and aromatic N-N donor ligands: synthesis, crystal structure, magnetic behaviour and the effect of weak interactions on their crystal packing.

TL;DR: In this article, four succinato-bridged complexes of copper(II) have been synthesized and the coligand bpy and phen in these complexes show face-to-face (in 1, 2, 3, 4) or edge-to face (in 4) interactions forming the multidimensional supramolecular architectures.
