Big data has been considered as an important technological change after the internet of things( IOT) and cloud computing in the field of modern information technology,which has become a frontier technology in data mining and smart applications,therefore,the development of science and technology is coming into the era of big data.This paper firstly introduced the background of the big data together with presenting the relation between big data and IOT,basic connotation and key technology,and then analyzed the demands of big data in the main applicable fields and its influence on the smart agriculture.Finally,some suggestions and thinking were put forward for the future development of big data and smart agriculture in China.read more
