TLDR
In this paper, a systematic study of photochemical behavior of 3,4-epoxyprecocene-I and related epoxychromans was undertaken, and it was shown that upon irradiation in acetone or cyclohexane, 3, 4 epoxy-I was found to undergo photoisomerization to the corresponding 3-chromanone.Citations
