Journal ArticleDOI
Measurement of 13C chemical shifts in solids
TL;DR: In this article, a pulse sequence and sample geometry which allows the measurement of 13 C chemical shifts of solid materials relative to liquid tetramethylsilane (TMS) is described.
Book ChapterDOI
The Stereochemistry of Linear Macromolecules
TL;DR: Stereoisomerie des chaines macromoleculaires, the contribution of la spectroscopie RMN a la stereochimie macroculaire, analyse conformationnelle, chiralite dans les polymeres, controle stere-ochimique au cours de polymerisation as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure of polystyrene glasses
TL;DR: In this article, a model was proposed in which the phenyl groups segregate on a molecular scale to form stacks; there are fewer stacks than chain backbones and they have a low electron density core which expands considerably in relation to its small diameter as the sample temperature increases.

Carbon‐13 Fourier Transform Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. X. Effect of Molecular Weight on 13C Spin‐Lattice Relaxation Times of Polystyrene in Solution

Studies of the stereospecific polymerization mechanism of propylene by a modified Ziegler-Natta catalyst based on 125 MHz 13C n.m.r. spectra
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-site model was proposed, in which at one site the stereospecific polymerization proceeds in obedience to the Bernoullian model and at the other proceeds under the control of enantiomorphic site model, and the pentad tacticities of both soluble and insoluble (in boiling heptane) fractions of polypropylene agreed well with the two-sites model.
