TL;DR: The authors used the term culture francaises de l'Ancien regime and early modern France to describe the relative advantages and disadvantages of "ancien regimes" and "Early Modern France".
Abstract: I periodically teach an undergraduate course that is part of my department's newly-created major option in "French Cultural Studies." My title for the course, which reflects my sense of what I'm actually trying to teach, is "Cultures francaises de l'Ancien Regime." The first class session is largely devoted to explaining the choices underlying the title: the relative advantages and disadvantages of "ancien regime" and "Early Modern France"; the insistence on the plural during a period when a standardized national culture was first coming into being; finally and most importantly, "culture" rather than "civilization." The students, however, often continue to refer to the course as "French Civilization." That more traditional designation is, after all, how the course continues to be listed in the University course catalogue and on their transcripts. Anecdotal evidence suggests that this sort of terminological change is by no means isolated, and may even be in the process of becoming a new norm.2 Doubtless this trend is merely a local reflection of the general inflation of the concept of culture in the humanities, and in

TL;DR: The actor network theory (ANT) is one of the primary new approaches for economic and market studies as mentioned in this paper, and it has been studied extensively in recent decades. But it has not yet been applied in the field of finance.
Abstract: In recent decades there has been a new wave of studies in sociology and anthropology of economy and markets. The Actor Network Theory (ANT) is one of the primary new approaches. The intention of this paper is to review some of the main aspects of this line of research. In addition we wish to highlight links between ANT and semiotics, stressing the role played by semiotics in the development of ANT, as well as indicating new developments. We will examine these developments particularly in relation to economy and markets studies regarding financial markets.

TL;DR: In this paper, an artikull eksploron nje qasje krahasuese ne perspektiven e nderthurur te antropologjise historike dhe gjuhesore qe mund te jete themelore per te kuptuar raportet ndermjet vlerave sociale te moralit dhe te fese.
Abstract: Ky artikull eksploron mundesine dhe interesin per te analizuar historise semantike te termave te fjalorit te institucioneve qe sherbejne per te shprehur nocionet e nderit dhe besimit.
