Abstract: Résumé L’objectif de cette étude est d’offrir un aperçu du concept de culturème, de le définir et d’établir son champ sémantique. Les acceptions du terme dans la théorie du culturème et du transfert linguistique, dans la sociologie de la culture et la sociolinguistique nous permettront de le délimiter semantiquement d’autres concepts apparentés et d’identifier son acception traductologique. L’étude des oppositions binaires : culturème-traductème, culturème-connotation, culturèmenéologisme, etc. nous a permis d’identifier ses traits : la monoculturalité, la relativité du statut de culturème et l’autonomie du culturème par rapport à la traduction. Afin de faciliter le choix du procédé de traduction convenable, nous esquissons une classification des culturèmes. Abstract The purpose of this article is to give further details about the concept of cultureme (the culture-bound term or phrase), its definition and semantic field. The significance of this term in the theory of the cultureme and in the theory of linguistic transfer, in the sociology of culture and in sociolinguistics offers the opportunity to set the semantic limits of culturème and to identify its significance in translatology. The binary opposition cultureme-translation unit, cultureme connotation, cultureme-neologism etc. is thought to be a powerful tool to elucidate the fundamental characteristic of the cultureme: monoculturality and its relative autonomy of translation. A classification of the culturemes is suggested to facilitate the translation process and to choose the most appropriate method of translation.

Abstract: Dans cette etude, on s’est concentre sur trois oeuvres de Marguerite Andersen, qui s'ecrivent autour d’un theme : le melange de la realite et de la fiction. Donc, le but de cette these repose sur une etude de l'ecriture autofictionnelle, qui se rattache etroitement a la quete identitaire du personnage. Et tout cela renvoie bien a la motivation de l’ecriture de l’auteure : d’un cote, elle partage ses temoignages personnels avec celui qui vit aussi dans un contexte multiculturel, de telle maniere que son ecriture participe d’une pedagogie. De l’autre, elle parle au nom d’une femme ecrivaine, de facon a contribuer a la lutte de la femme pour un avenir plus lumineux dans la societe. Ainsi, la these comporte une premiere partie consacree a la construction de l’identite entre le personnage, la narratrice et l’auteure, la deuxieme analyse l’ecriture du temps et de l’espace, et la troisieme est composee de trois chapitres, portant respectivement sur l’heterogeneite narrative dans les trois oeuvres. A travers des analyses de la modalite narrative exploitee par l’auteure dans chaque oeuvre, dans la conclusion, on degage dans les trois oeuvres la coherence, qui donne a reflechir sur des themes constants et le mecanisme explore par l’auteure dans d’autres oeuvres, et qui renvoie a la contribution de l’ecriture andersenienne a l’ecriture au feminin, a la litterature francophone.

Abstract: This paper argues that denominal verb formation in Ojibwe is similar to nominal incorporation: a complex nominal (containing inflectional and derivational affixes) incorporates into a verb. This process differs from denominalization in languages such as English where denominal verbs are the result of the concatenation of derivational affixes and nouns that are simple roots. This paper contributes to ongoing discussion on the composition of words in polysynthetic languages, the nature of nominal incorporation, and the relationship between morphology and syntax.[KEYWORDS: denominal verbs, nominal incorporation, Ojibwe, Algonquian]
