TLDR
The main criteria and statistical tests used in the assessment of reliability (stability, internal consistency and equivalence) and validity (content, criterion and construct) of instruments are presented, discussed and exemplified.
Abstract

A review of project-based learning in higher education : Student outcomes and measures

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of empirical studies on project-based learning has been conducted with a focus on student outcomes, including cognitive outcomes (knowledge and cognitive strategies) and behavioral outcomes (i.e., skills and engagement) were measured by questionnaires, rubrics, tests, interviews, observation, self-reflection journals, artifacts, and log data.

A Rapid Review of the Measurement of Intrinsic Capacity in Older Adults

TL;DR: The most commonly used tools for assessing intrinsic capacity were gait speed test and chair stand test (locomotion); handgrip-strength and mini-nutritional assessment (vitality); Mini-Mental State Examination (cognition); Geriatric depression scale (GDS) and Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) (psychological), and self-reported vision and health questionnaires (sensory) as mentioned in this paper.

Coefficient alpha and the internal structure of tests.

TL;DR: In this paper, a general formula (α) of which a special case is the Kuder-Richardson coefficient of equivalence is shown to be the mean of all split-half coefficients resulting from different splittings of a test, therefore an estimate of the correlation between two random samples of items from a universe of items like those in the test.

Quality criteria were proposed for measurement properties of health status questionnaires

TL;DR: The criteria can be used in systematic reviews of health status questionnaires, to detect shortcomings and gaps in knowledge of measurement properties, and to design validation studies.
