TL;DR: Nursing home staff members deal with a moral conflict between what they are able to deliver and what they would like to provide in the care of older people, and there is a need to take account of staff members' work situation.
Abstract: Aims and objectives. To explore nursing home staff members' experiences of what dignity in end of life care means to older people and to themselves. Background. Dignity is a concept often used in end-of-life care, but its meaning is rarely clarified. Design. Qualitative descriptive study. Methods. Content analysis. This study is based on interviews with 21 staff members in four different nursing homes in Sweden. Findings. The results show that staff members balanced between providing for the older person's physical needs while wishing to be able to deliver a 'deeper' level of care. The older people's dignity is presented in the main theme: Feeling trust - Showing respect. The staff members' dignity is presented in the main theme: Maintaining self-respect - Being shown respect. Threats to dignity are presented in the main theme: conflicts between the ideal and the reality. Conclusions. The results reveal that nursing home staff members deal with a moral conflict between what they are able to deliver and what they would like to provide in the care of older people. Relevance to clinical practice. To promote older people's dignity, there is a need to take account of staff members' work situation. Supervision and continuous education could be one way of achieving this.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors aim at generating a better understanding of the design elements and related management practices of strategic account management programs, in order to assist firms wishing to design such programs.
Abstract: Purpose – The paper aims at generating a better understanding of the design elements and related management practices of strategic account management programs, in order to assist firms wishing to design such programs.Design/methodology/approach – The research process is based on systematic combining of literature, empirical data from interviews with nine multi‐national firms, interaction with the firms during the research, and the knowledge resource base of the Strategic Account Management Association.Findings – A strategic account management program (SAMP) is defined as a relational capability, involving task‐dedicated actors, who allocate resources of the firm and its strategically most important customers, through management practices that aim at inter‐ and intra‐organizational alignment, in order to improve account performance (and ultimately shareholder value creation). The research identified four inter‐organizational alignment design elements: account portfolio definition, account business planning...

TL;DR: This article illustrates the experience of 20 postmenopausal women with breast cancer who had received chemotherapy treatment as a journey from the negative experiences of fear of the unknown, affects on body and mind, to the more positive to get by, and a transformed life.
Abstract: This article illustrates the experience of 20 postmenopausal women with breast cancer who had received chemotherapy treatment. The interviews were of narrative nature and analyzed with content analysis. Four themes, including 12 subthemes, described these women's life during treatment as a journey from the negative experiences of fear of the unknown, affects on body and mind, to the more positive to get by, and a transformed life. The treatment was compared with an assault on the body, and the loss of their hair was experienced more negatively than the loss of a breast. The women described a feeling of imbalance in their relationships due to lack of support from those close to them. The support from healthcare professionals was experienced both positively and negatively, and many of the women revealed variation in the professional's attitude, knowledge, and empathy. The women who chose not to work during the treatment felt pressure from society and healthcare professionals to get back to work as soon as possible. For many, especially those in a leading position, this was experienced as very difficult. The women expressed a feeling of not being afraid of dying but wanted more time to prepare themselves.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the possibility that fashion social content can focus on environmentally friendly products, customer service, fair employment opportunities, fair allocation of profits, diversity of quality and design, and ecosystem promotion.
Abstract: Due to an increase in clothes consumption and a decrease in the trend cycle, middle-class consumers generally prefer clothes that are cheap and trendy. The share of global SPA (Specialty store retailer of Private label Apparel) brands in the world fashion market is steadily expanding. However, SPA clothes emphasize trends, resulting in disposal after a season regardless of the quality. Today, the growth of fashion waste raises serious environmental concerns. This study develops sustainable social content for fast fashion. The fast fashion industry has not yet made suitable efforts to achieve sustainability, even though serious environmental pollution is produced by fast fashion. This study investigates the possibility that fashion social content can focus on environmentally friendly products, customer service, fair employment opportunities, fair allocation of profits, diversity of quality and design, and ecosystem promotion. The study provides data to execute a new marketing strategy for sustaina...
