Abstract
In the search for a way of speeding up the pendant drop method of measuring surface tension, a development was made which permitted a reduction of approximately 75 per cent in time required for a determination. This modified method permits a monetary saving in addition to the saving in time, by eliminating a photographic process. This method offers advantages over other surface tension methods for certain uses.
