31 Mar 2021-Vol. 2, Iss: 1, pp 6-10
TL;DR: The results of this study obtained the best 2 packages recommended for tourists to choose, namely the Triangular Fuzzy Number and the Simple Additive Weighting method.
Abstract: For tourists who do not understand the situation or the desired tourist attraction, they can choose tour and travel services. Tour and travel provides a choice of tour packages with various variations. Determining the right tour and travel package and agency can benefit tourists, both in terms of financial and vacation quality. The data used in this study were obtained from several Tour and Travel agents. There are several variables used, namely the price of the package, the number of participants, and the number of facilities obtained. The method used in this study combines the Triangular Fuzzy Number (TFN) and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The purpose of this study is to help tourists determine the most profitable or best packages. The results of this study obtained the best 2 packages recommended for tourists to choose.

TL;DR: The best learning communication media for elementary school students using the TOPSIS method is the Whatsapp application as mentioned in this paper , based on the criteria for easy use and maintenance, completeness of features, quota requirements, understanding obtained, and the ability to re-access information.
Abstract: The spread of the Covid-19 virus that occurred so quickly and occurred almost all over the world caused the implementation of activities to be carried out online, including learning activities. The main thing that can help the online learning process is technology, especially communication technology. Commonly used communication media to assist the online learning process include Whatsapp, school e-learning Web, Youtube, Zoom, and Google Meet. Of course, every communication media used has advantages and disadvantages. This study aims to determine the best learning communication media using the TOPSIS method to assist users in choosing the best communication media for elementary school students based on the criteria for easy use and maintenance, completeness of features, quota requirements, understanding obtained, and the ability to re-access information. The results of this study indicate that the best communication media for elementary school student learning is the Whatsapp application. In addition, this research also produces a simple excel-based TOPSIS program that can be used by educators to determine what application is right for use in the learning process because many criteria are considered by an educator to determine the application

TL;DR: In this paper , the main objective of the study is to determine the main criteria of a tour packages in Langkawi Island by using Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP).
Abstract: Malaysia enters the endemic phase of Covid-19 on 1st April 2022. Since then, the Malaysia’s economy has started to recover, and domestic tourism has also restarted. Tourism is one of the factors that contributed to the economy. Avoiding the headache to plan their own trips, tourists usually count on tour operators to turn their dream vacations into realities. Booking a tour is the easiest way for a traveller to experience a foreign land and at the same time they could enjoy their vacation and visit the best spots. The main objective of this study is to determine the main criteria of a tour packages in Langkawi Island by using Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP). The five criteria identified are transportation, cost, food service, accommodation, and tour guide. Results showed that the transportation is the most important criteria a tourist look forward in the selection of a tour package.

TL;DR: A novel modification of TOPSIS method is introduced to facilitate multi criteria decision making problems based on the concept of Z-numbers called Z-TOPSIS, which is adequate and intuitive in giving meaningful structure for formalizing information of a decision making problem.
Abstract: The ability in providing result that is consistent with actual ranking remains the major concern in group decision making environment. The main aim of this paper is to introduce a novel modification of TOPSIS method to facilitate multi criteria decision making problems based on the concept of Z-numbers called Z-TOPSIS. The proposed method is adequate and intuitive in giving meaningful structure for formalizing information of a decision making problem, as it takes into account the decision makers’ reliability. This study also provides bridge with some established knowledge in fuzzy sets to certain extend as to strengthen the concept of ranking alternatives using Z – numbers. To ensure practicality and effectiveness of proposed method, stock selection problem is studied. The ranking based on proposed method is validated comparatively using spearman rho rank correlation. Based on the analysis, the proposed method outperforms the established TOPSIS methods in term of ranking performance.

TL;DR: The purpose of this paper is to compare the four methods of Multi Criteria Decision Making, ie Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment of Evaluations (PROMETHEE) for the application of employee placement in accordance with predetermined criteria.
Abstract: The right decision in placing employees in an appropriate position in a company will support the quality of management and will have an impact on improving the quality of human resources of the company. Such decision-making can be assisted by an approach through the Decision Support System (DSS) to improve accuracy in the employee placement process. The purpose of this paper is to compare the four methods of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), ie Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Of Evaluations (PROMETHEE) for the application of employee placement in accordance with predetermined criteria. The ranking results and the accuracy level obtained from each method are different depending on the different scaling and weighting processes in each method.

TL;DR: The criteria used for the consistency weightedness priority level analysis found consistent results that were sufficient to determine the best performers based on all available alternatives so that alternative ranking results can be used as a basic guideline to help decision making.
Abstract: The position of a singer in a band is often important because it will interact directly with the audience. In an organization found a related problem about the selection of the best singers so there needs to be a decision support mechanism to be able to find a best singer. This problem can be solved by combining two decision support methods namely Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for the weighting process of some criteria and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) for value processing of participants. Based on the experimental results, the criteria used for the consistency weightedness priority level analysis found consistent results that were sufficient to determine the best performers based on all available alternatives. So that alternative ranking results can be used as a basic guideline to help decision making.
