Relación entre el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y la violencia filioparental en adolescentes

Abstract
El presente trabajo ofrece una reflexion sobre algunos aspectos relacionados con las practicas de violencia filioparental ejercida por hijos e hijas adolescentes y el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas. Se parte de una exhaustiva revision documental, identificando los factores que pueden desatar actos de agresion hacia los padres, madres o familiares ascendentes, priorizando en el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas como vehiculo que fija unas formas particulares de conflicto en la relacion padres e hijos. Se concluye que la violencia filioparental y el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas son fenomenos conexos, que en reiteradas ocasiones permanecen ocultos y se hacen manifiestos tan solo cuando se pone en riesgo la dinamica y la estructura del sistema familiar. La investigacion cobra relevancia de cara a los diferentes retos que deben afrontar los profesionales de la psicologia y otras ciencias de la salud, en el marco de la intervencion sobre las relaciones de poder y control que involucran a las familias del siglo XXI.
